Guitar Notes Must Be Played Correctly

When you watch someone play the guitar, it's amazing to see their hands fly across the guitar strings as they make beautiful music. You can learn how to play, however, and it's not really that hard. All it takes is proper instruction and lots of practice. The proper instruction involves how to correctly hold the guitar, how to pick or strum the strings, as well as how to position your fingers on the guitar frets in order to play guitar notes. Proper finger and hand placement are so important. If your fingers or hands are off by even just a little bit, it can be difficult to transition from one guitar note to the other, which isn't conducive to beautiful, flowing, music.

An instructor will watch you play and will be able to show you the correct way to place your hands and fingers. If you're going to learn on your own, make sure you are playing correctly. It takes learning proper placement, proper note playing, proper chord playing and then putting all together with lots of practice in order to play beautiful music like a professional.
