Bass Fretboard: Where to go for
Lessons
If you want to learn about the different fretboard notes and
how to play the bass fretboard, there are a few companies in
particular that you are going to want to become more familiar
with. These companies will offer you information and tips on
how to play bass fretboard, and remember that the more educated
you are, the better you are going to be.
The good news is that there are some terrific bass fretboard
teaching companies out there, a few in particular which will be
discussed here in detail for you.
Study Bass
One of the best companies you can go through if you want to
learn bass fretboard is the Study Bass Company. They even offer
diagrams that you can print off so that you can print scales,
chord tones, and harmonic notes for the bass guitar or any
other stringed instrument.
There are fixes and improvements on their new printing
software, including that new scale tones can be overlapped with
chord tones, and that harmonics can be added on top of that.
There is also the fact that scale degrees can now be used
rather than note names, you no longer need to adjust your print
settings for landscape or portrait because it will
automatically adjust to print what is on the page, and there is
an improved interface.
This is a great, reliable company that you can go through if
you want to learn how to play the bass guitar, and know that
you are going to go in a newbie and come out sounding like a
professional.
Absolute Fretboard
This is another company that you will want to consider if you
want to know how to play bass fretboard. They understand all
the benefits that will come from you learning the fretboard
extremely well, including the ability to play any note without
fumbling around, ability to create and improvise bass lines on
the spot, understand scales much better, and be able to use the
scles that you learn with carefree abandon.
There are quite a few different types of instruments that you
can learn to play, but one of the most enjoyable and worthwhile
is the bass guitar, without question. Most people overlook the
importance of the bass guitar. It is actually one of the most
crucial instruments in any band, sort of the glue that holds it
all together. Learning to the bass can be fun and it is a skill
you will acquire that you can hold on to for the rest of your
life.
